Authorised Compliance helps credit brokers launch, grow and operate with confidence. We provide access toFCA permissions through AR and IAR arrangements, support partners with lender relationships, and deliverpractical compliance support built around real credit broking experience.
Whether you need permission to operate, help with an FCA application, support during an FCA review, or acomplete outsourced compliance function, we give you the structure, oversight and confidence to moveforward properly.

Credit broking is what we know.
Authorised Compliance is focused on helping UK firms operate within the FCA credit broking regime. We
support businesses that want to become Appointed Representatives, Introducer Appointed Representatives, directly authorised credit brokers, or stronger regulated firms with better systems, controls and customer outcome monitoring.
Our work covers the full credit broking lifecycle, from business model assessment and customer journey
review through to lender relationships, financial promotions, complaints, Consumer Duty, compliance
monitoring, FCA submissions and board level reporting.
We do not provide generic compliance advice. We work in the credit broking market every day, with the
experience to understand commercial models, lender expectations, customer journeys and the practical
requirements of FCA supervision.

For firms that want to carry out regulated credit broking activity under our FCA permissions, we can assess
your business model and, where suitable, appoint you as an Appointed Representative.
We carry out detailed due diligence before appointment and provide the ongoing oversight, training,
monitoring and compliance support needed to operate properly under the AR framework.
This may include access to our credit relationships, support with your own lender relationships, customer
journey review, marketing approval, complaints oversight, compliance reporting and ongoing conduct
monitoring.
We can support partners that need access to credit relationships as part of their broking model.
Depending on the nature of your business, this may include access to our lender relationships or permission to
operate with your own lender partners under an approved and controlled framework.
Our focus is on making sure the model is commercially workable, transparent for customers, and properly
controlled from a regulatory perspective.
For firms that only need to introduce customers or distribute approved financial promotions, IAR status can
provide a more limited route into regulated credit broking activity.
We help partners understand what they can and cannot do as an IAR, put the right controls in place, and
ensure their activity stays within the permitted scope.
This is suitable for businesses that want a compliant introduction model without taking on broader credit
broking activity.
For directly authorised firms or established credit brokers, we can provide a complete outsourced compliance
function.
This can include compliance monitoring, financial promotion reviews, customer journey testing, complaints
oversight, Consumer Duty support, management information, file reviews, lender reporting, policy updates,
audit preparation and board reporting.
You can use us for a one off audit, a specific project, or as your ongoing compliance function.
If your business needs FCA permission for credit broking, we can support the full application process.
We help you understand the permissions you need, prepare your business plan, build your complianceframework, draft policies, review your customer journey, create monitoring plans and respond to FCA questions.
We also support firms that are already authorised and need help with FCA reviews, regulatory queries, variation of permission applications, AR network planning or remediation work.
Our approach is direct, practical and grounded in what the FCA expects to see from a well controlled creditbroking firm.

We bring more than 20 years of experience across consumer finance, credit broking, lender relationships, AR networks, IAR models, fintech platforms and motor finance.
We understand how credit brokers actually operate, from lead generation and customer journeys through to lender panels, compliance monitoring, complaints, vulnerable customers and customer outcomes.
We have more than 10 years of hands on experience working with Appointed Representative and Introducer
Appointed Representative models.
That experience covers onboarding, due diligence, contracts, permissions, financial promotions, training, monitoring, risk assessment, audit trails and offboarding.
For the right partners, we can provide a route to operate under our FCA permissions as an AR or IAR.
We will only work with firms that meet our standards, but where there is a good fit, we give partners the structure and support needed to operate with confidence.
We can support a credit broker at every stage.
That may mean building the framework from scratch, reviewing a current model, preparing an FCA application, supporting an audit, approving financial promotions, testing customer journeys or acting as your full compliance function.
Good compliance should not stop a strong business from growing.
Our role is to help you build a model that is commercially effective, properly controlled, and designed around fair customer outcomes.
We review your business model, customer journey, target market, lender relationships, marketingchannels, systems, people and intended regulated activity.
We help determine whether AR status, IAR status, direct authorisation, a variation of permission, oroutsourced compliance support is the right route for your business.
We create or review the policies, controls, disclosures, training, monitoring plans, audit trails andmanagement information needed to support your model.
Once the structure is live, we provide practical support through audits, reviews, financial promotionchecks, customer outcome monitoring, complaints oversight, FCA reporting and ongoing advice.
Credit broking compliance is not a one time exercise. We help partners review performance, identifyrisks early and keep improving their controls as the business grows.
Becoming an AR or IAR is not simply a shortcut to FCA permissions. It is a regulated relationship that requirestrust, oversight, clear responsibilities and strong customer outcomes.
We assess every prospective partner carefully before appointment. That includes the business model, financial standing, key individuals, customer journey, marketing approach, lender relationships, complaints process and operational readiness.
If approved, partners receive a clear framework setting out what they can do, how they must operate, whatneeds approval, how monitoring works and how issues are escalated.
Our aim is to create well controlled, commercially strong credit broking partnerships that protect customersand give partners the confidence to grow properly.
