For introducers and marketing partners

Compliance support for lead generators, affiliates & publishers

Build a clearer route from your audience to finance. We help you understand your regulatory position, review customer communications and put practical oversight around your activity.

Who we support

Different business models. The right support for yours.

Your role may involve advertising, publishing finance content, collecting enquiries or introducing customers to a broker or lender. We start by understanding the complete customer journey, including where leads go and what each partner does.

01

Lead generators

For businesses using websites, landing pages, forms or paid campaigns to generate finance enquiries. We review how customers are acquired, what they are told and how their details reach the next business.

02

Affiliates & publishers

For businesses promoting finance services through content, comparison journeys, adverts, emails or other channels. We help clarify your role, commercial disclosures and the communications customers see.

03

Networks & partner programmes

For businesses coordinating multiple publishers, affiliates or introducers. We can support partner due diligence, campaign controls, journey reviews and proportionate monitoring across the agreed model.

A label such as “publisher” or “lead generator” does not determine your regulatory status. The products, activities, introductions and communications involved all need to be assessed.

Regulatory routes

Choose the arrangement around your activity.

We assess whether your proposed activity needs FCA permissions or an appointment, and whether Authorised Compliance can support it. Any appointment depends on suitability, our permissions and an agreed scope.

IAR

Introducer Appointed Representative

An IAR appointment has a limited scope: introductions to the principal or its group, and distribution of permitted non-real-time financial promotions for products or services available from or through them. It does not cover wider credit-broking activity.

AR

Appointed Representative

Where your intended role goes beyond the limited IAR scope, we assess whether an AR appointment is suitable for the activities involved. The appointment sets out the activity covered, the controls required and our responsibilities as principal.

FCA

Direct authorisation & compliance support

If your business needs its own FCA permissions, we can help assess the application route and prepare the supporting framework. If you are already authorised, we can review the controls around your lead-generation and partner activity.

Some activities may fall outside regulated credit broking, but that must be established from the actual model. A review or commercial agreement does not itself provide FCA authorisation or an AR/IAR appointment.

Promotion reviews

Review the journey beyond the advert.

A clear campaign needs consistent information from the first promotion through to the form, follow-up and introduction. We review the assets and channels agreed with you, identify issues and explain the changes needed.

01

Websites, content & landing pages

Review product and service claims, eligibility information, commercial disclosures and how your role is explained. We check that the page and the onward journey tell a consistent story.

02

Adverts, emails & social content

Review the agreed campaign copy and creative, including qualifying information and the relationship between headline claims and the underlying service.

03

Forms, follow-up & lead routing

Review what customers are asked to provide, what they understand will happen next, consent wording and how enquiries pass to the agreed recipients.

04

Sign-off & change controls

Put a clear process around asset versions, changes and escalation. For appointed firms, promotion sign-off is limited to the activities covered by the appointment.

Our consultancy review is not a general statutory financial-promotion approval service. We establish the appropriate review and sign-off arrangements before work begins.

Ongoing oversight

Keep control as campaigns and partners change.

Launching the journey is one stage of the work. We can agree ongoing support around the risks in your business, with clear reporting, review responsibilities and an action record.

01

Partner due diligence

Review the identity, role, regulatory position and proposed activity of relevant partners. Agree how new sources and recipients are assessed before they are used.

02

Campaign & journey monitoring

Review agreed sample communications and customer journeys, track material changes and identify where controls or disclosures need attention.

03

Complaints & customer outcomes

Use complaints, customer feedback and available management information to identify recurring issues, potential harm and improvements to the journey.

04

Actions, reporting & escalation

Record findings, owners and next steps. Agree what needs to be reported, when to escalate concerns and how remediation is followed through.

The review frequency, reporting and responsibilities are agreed for your model. You remain responsible for operating within your permissions or appointment, supplying current information and obtaining sign-off where required.

Technology alongside the right structure

Need a connected application journey?

If you need application forms, provider connections or a results journey, we can discuss AuthRoute alongside the regulatory and compliance support for your business.

Available products, providers and technology options are confirmed for each proposed setup. Technology access does not replace the permissions, appointment or controls your activity requires.
